If you have a trip to Chicago planned in the near future, you certainly don’t have to worry about a lack of entertainment. This is particularly good news if you’re looking for something different than your usual night out in town and especially if you’re a classical music lover.

Classical music may seem as a rare preference for many people these days but that doesn’t mean that it has totally lost its charm. In fact, there are still many classical music enthusiasts around the world, who jump at the opportunity of attending a classical music concert preformed by talented and capable musicians. This is precisely what is provided at the Chicago Cultural Center where concerts are carried out by the talented group of musicians known as the “Chicago Chamber Musicians”.

The organization known as the Chicago Chamber Musicians is formed of a group of talented and experienced musicians. It was founded in 1986 with the main purpose of sharing the joy of chamber music, of both the past and the present, with as many people from the public as possible. As a result, the idea of the “ First Monday Series” was born.

The “First Monday Series” is a program that offers the opportunity of enjoying live concerts of chamber music to as many people as possible. This program is carried out in the form of a series of free concerts which take place on the first Monday of each month. These concerts begin at noon at last for almost 45 minutes in the Preston Bradley Hall of the Chicago cultural center at 78 East Washington street. This concert is supported by the Blue Cross and Blue Shield organization of Illinois as well as the “National endowment of the Arts” organization. So obviously, these concerts are carried out with the purpose of allowing the public to indulge in the beauty of fine art.

If you’re a lover of chamber music and you expect to be in Chicago at the beginning of the month, it would be very wise of you to reserve your seat in this wonderful event as soon as possible. There’s no reason to miss such an opportunity. However, if you can’t make it person, you can always enjoy its live broadcast on WFMT which is Chicago’s fine arts radio station. Additionally, you can also enjoy the Chicago Chamber musicians’ nationally syndicated radio series any where you might be.
